The ensemble avantage was founded 2000 under the direction of Jeremias Schwarzer. The projects of the ensemble are designed to support young composers and to realize new ways of programming. An example is le temps retrouvé - music in difficult times (2004), where the theme „political music“ has been the axis of the program. In collaboration with Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian broadcasting corporation) many portrait recordings of composers such as Karola Obermüller, Matthias Hoffmann, Marko Zdralek and Samir Odeh- Tamimi have been realized.
